    New SPAM re: Fordham E-mail Account Activation

    This is a broadcast message to the entire University community regarding
    spam received today requesting users to complete email account activation.
    You may have received an email message requesting you to complete account
    activation [for your Fordham email account] by sending your email account
    details to the sender. One example used the subject Fordham University
    Email User from Fordham University . See below for
    sample text.
    PLEASE DELETE THIS MESSAGE. Do not reply or click any of the links.
    These messages did not come from Fordham.
    Please be aware that we would NEVER ask for personal information to be sent
    via email.
    If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the University Help
    Desk at (718) 817-3999 or via email to: helpdesk@fordham.edu
    Fordham IT’s standing maintenance window is every Thursday and Friday from
    5:00 AM thru 8:30 AM.
