Everyone has experienced the frustration of having an update occur just as you would like to use a software. While the update may be aggravating in the short term, its benefits far outweigh the short-term inconvenience. Patches often fix security vulnerabilities that exist in the software. So the next time you are frustrated about the few seconds or minutes it takes for your computer or software to update, just remember that the update is most likely protecting you from security threats that may affect your computer or steal your data.
